Civil Rights

Martin Luther King:Martin Luther King was one of the most inspiring people that helped the fight against segregation. He had charisma while he spoke that astounded listeners. He grew up with little schooling, and wanted to become a preacher.

Rosa Parks:
Rosa Park’s courage to stand up for rights as a citizen inspired many people back in her time and many people now. She taught people to stand up for their ideas ad beliefs so freedom & justice can apply to all races. The black leaders used her situation to fight off Jim Crow laws, boycotting the busses really proved a point that blacks could really take a stand and it showed the whites that they really do care. Rosa Parks influenced many lawmakers to look differently at discrimination throughout the nation. In conclusion without Rosa Parks, fighting off segregation would of been a lot more difficult.
